Rockford Man Arrested on Drug Charge

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford man has been arrested for allegedly trying to sell cocaine.

Police say they received information that crack cocaine was being sold from an apartment on Magnolia Street. Police identified a possible suspect as 38-year-old James Ford III.

When police searched the home, four adults were inside the home. Police say they found multiple baggies each containing cocaine, cash, and other items associated with drug trafficking,

Ford was charged possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church.
