ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) – A man has been arrested in Janesville for robbery.
25-year-old Nicholas Hughes of Milton is now in custody after police believe he robbed Lions Quick Mart in the 100 block of E Racine St.
Police responded to the business in the early morning hours of February 1, 2013 for a hold up alarm. They say Hughes entered the store, demanded money and left on foot before officers arrived. Later, a Rock County Deputy in the area located Hughes walking without a coat. After further investigation probable cause was developed to arrest Hughes for the robbery. The money taken was recovered. Hughes was also held on a probation hold.
