UPDATE: Winnebago County Sheriff's deputies believe they know the man responsible for beating a man and leaving him with severe head injuries at a Machesney Park Bar.
An arrest warrant is out for 29-year-old Matthew Duncan.
Duncan will be charged with two counts of aggravated battery. The victim, 40-year-old Michael Eash Jr. remains in critical condition.
Eash was left unconscious after a fight at Legends Bar.

MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) – A Machesney Park man is fighting for his life after police say he was slammed to the ground during a bar fight, leaving him with severe head injuries. Investigators are still searching for the man they believe left him unconscious this morning.
Surveillance photos help give us a glimpse of the man detectives believe was involved. Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found 40-year-old Michael Eash Jr. unconscious at Legends Bar after 2 a.m. in the businesses’ enclosed smoking area. He’s already gone through surgery for a massive internal head injury. The bar’s owner says he’s praying for the victim.
"It's deeply frustrating and saddening that a night that could start out so innocently can turn that quickly. It's just senseless."
Eash remains in critical condition. Anyone with information is being asked to call the Sheriff’s Department or Rockford Area Crime Stoppers.
MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) -- In Machesney Park, a man was beaten at Legends Bar and Grill overnight.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies say the 40-year-old, Michael Eash Jr., was rushed to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
