Local Company Gives Big Donation To Japan Relief Efforts
It's the largest local donation yet to the American Red Cross Japan earthquake relief efforts. And it comes from a Stateline company whose headquarters are in Japan.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It's the largest local donation yet to the American Red Cross Japan earthquake relief efforts. And it comes from a Stateline company whose headquarters are in Japan.
Rocknel Fastener leaders presented a check for over $20,000 to the Rock River Chapter of the Red Cross today. The donation was a combined gift from employees and a corporate match. Rocknel Fastener is a manufacturer of cold formed fasteners for automotive and commercial applications. The Rockford company is a subsidiary of Meira Corporation in Japan.

Nope. this is not the biggest donation. Gaia Online has donated $54,000,000 to the cause.

Ok so why doesnt Rocknel, help the Americans that are getting sick and has to buy iodine tablets because of nuclear radiation that is coming over here from the Japanese nuclear reactor. Is the japanese government gonna send financial aid to all the Americans that are getting sick from thier radiation leak, i bet not.
