BELOIT (WIFR)-

"When you're the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere there's a lot to be done."

Andrew Britton was searching for the next story to tell and his father Gregory was looking for a place to share his expertise in the Health Care industry, and they found the perfect solution.

"The mission of the trip is they're going to be working with an orphganage providing healthcare to underprivledged children and I am going to be documenting the whole process while we're there."

The need for improved healthcare in haiti is crucial.

One out of every twelve children will die before 5 according to Health Ministries which is organiziing the Britton's trip.

Gregory who's been working in healthcare for forty years is joining his son Andrew, a filmmaker, for this 2000 mile journey.

"Help them to be a little bit more efficient with their clinics and use of their resources. Also give some input in the fact they're building a new clinic."

Andrew says he hopes his movie will shed light on Haiti's poverty and make us more grateful for the resources we have.

Once Gregory gets to Haiti he'll be working with clinic coordinators in the morning helping to structure their time and resources, and then heading to the orphanages in the afternoon.
