ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Lifescape Community Services is the lead organization for a multi-county public event to enroll for health insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act. The event will be at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at 1601 Parkview Ave. in Rockford. For those who have been waiting until the last minute, this would be a great opportunity to get questions answered and to get health insurance coverage.
Federally certified navigators from Winnebago, Boone and Stephenson Counties will be available between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to help local residents learn how insurance can help them, be educated about the process, ask questions and to be enrolled for health insurance coverage on Transportation to the event will be available for seniors 60 and older for a suggested donation of $2 per ride. For those under 60 there will be a fee of $5 per ride. Transportation must be scheduled at least one week before the event. Please call Lifescape at 815.963.1609 to make your reservation.
