ILLINOIS (WIFR) -- A former Illinois legislator and an advocate for Rockford’s Airport is stepping down from President Obama’s administration.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood made the announcement this morning. He says he'll remain at the department until his successor is confirmed. LaHood says he's not interested in running for public office here at home.
