STATELINE (WIFR) – A local charity needs our help making sure needy kids have a way to stay warm.
Today the Salvation Army kicked off its 24th Annual “Koats for Kids” drive. This year, they hope to collect 1,500 warm winter jackets, hats, scarves and mittens. All you have to do is check your closet, maybe you’ve got a couple of coats your kids have outgrown and bring your donation to any local Schnucks store or the CherryVale Mall between now and October 20th.
