STEPHENSON COUNTY (WIFR) – Third graders in Stephenson County are using the beautiful weather to learn an important lesson.
Their teachers are training them to be “Keepers of the Land”. They spent the day out in Krape Park, learning about the roles they can play in protecting the environment for the next generation.
“Outside makes me feel good. I don’t like spending my whole day inside, watching TV,” said 3rd grader Nakia Jackson.
