Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful Sets First Golf Play Day

LOVES PARK (WIFR) – Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful will hold its inaugural Golf Play Day at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Club, 5151 Guilford Road, Rockford, on Monday, June 9.

The schedule for the day begins with registration and lunch at 11 a.m.; Tee-Off at 12:30 p.m.; Cocktails at 5, followed by dinner, distribution of prizes and wrap-up. The registration is $100 per player, limited to the first 144 golfers, which includes 18 holes of golf, the use of a golf cart and meals. Reservations and hole sponsorships are due by June 2. “This is the Golf Play Day that will help support environmental education and recycling events in the Stateline,” said Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful Executive Director Lori Gummow. “By participating in our June 9 Golf Play Day you will help sustain your community and keep our environment safe for future generations,” she added.
