KMK's Bob Ryder Joins Carrie Lynn Children's Center Board

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- KMK Communications Specialist Bob Ryder has joined the Carrie Lynn Children Center's Friends Board. Ryder began working with the board in February of 2013.

The Carrie Lynn Children Center's Friends Board is made up of 10 members from the Rockford area community, each with an area of expertise that can help the center reach its goals. Bringing his experience in media, reporting and public relations, Ryder will help develop marketing strategies for the center and assist in communicating with the media on specific events and issues as needed.

"I'm honored to be a part of the board of the Carrie Lynn Children's Center," said Ryder. "Helping make a difference in the lives of children while working with so many dedicated professionals has been a tremendously rewarding experience. The services and resources provided by the Carrie Lynn Children's Center to our community are critical for child victims and their families.”

The Carrie Lynn Children's Center is a children’s advocacy center serving Boone and Winnebago Counties. The center's mission is help children who have been exposed to sexual, physical or emotional abuse and to coordinate efforts to protect the best interests of the victims and their families.
