Juvenile Burglary Suspect Arrested

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- On December 2nd, 2012 shortly after 1:00 AM, Rockford City Police Officers responded to the 2200 block of 26th Street in regards to a burglary to vehicle in progress.

A witness advised officers that they observed 2 people breaking into a neighbors vehicle and provided the officers with a basic description of one of the subjects. Officers checked the area and located a 15-year-old boy hiding in some bushes a few blocks away. After a brief investigation, the juvenile was detained and charged with Burglary to Vehicle, Attempted Burglary to Vehcile, Posession of Drug Equipment Violation of the Cannabis Control Act, and Curfew Violation.

Rockford Police Burglary Detectives conducted follow up investigation and upon learning the male subjects involvement in several criminal acts, the following Burglary to vehicle incidents were cleared:
