ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Opening statements are expected to begin Tuesday in Kody Walsh's murder trial.
He's the Rockford man accused of leading police on a week-long manhunt, after allegedly killing Lori Daniels on I-90 in September of 2012. The trial was supposed to start last December but it was delayed several times after Walsh planned to represent himself, only to change his mind.
He is accused of killing a Rock County woman last year and leading police on a manhunt for a week. The Rockford man's trial has been delayed several times, including when he chose to represent himself then changed his mind and was appointed a public defender.
