ROCK FALLS (WIFR) -- A judge says jurors will not see graphic pictures from a crime scene during the murder trial of a sterling man accused of killing eight people.
According to the Daily Gazette in Sterling Judge Jeffrey O'Connor said prosecutors can't just show morbid photos without any other reason during Nicholas Sheley's murder trial. O'Connor says he will allow some of the pictures, admitting 28 of 57 images. Sheley's trial starts January 10.
He's accused of beating four people to death in a Rock Falls apartment in 2008. The 34-year-old is accused of killing four others as well. He's already been convicted of murder twice and is serving two life sentences.
