ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Police are searching for a group of men who escaped an early morning jewelry heist on Monday at North Towne Mall.
Police say the men wore nylons over their faces and were stuffing jewels into buckets. The owner of the store jewelry concepts says nearly ten police officers were on the scene and but the suspects get away. He says the inside of his store was so destroyed and he doesn't know how much was actually taken. The men were caught on surveillance video.
