Janesville Woman Arrested for Alleged Hate Crime

JANESVILLE, WI (WIFR) -- A Janesville woman has been arrested for allegedly committing a hate crime.

Police say on Thursday, they found an African American doll hung outside the home of 54-year-old Deborah Boudreau in the 00 block of South Academy Street. The doll was hung in effigy with a noose around the neck with its arms pinned up.

Boudreau has been arrested for disorderly conduct and crimes committed against certain people or property.
