After Janesville police responded to two heroin overdoses in two hours, they believe a stronger than usual batch of heroin may be making its way through the community.

JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- After Janesville police responded to two heroin overdoses in two hours, they believe a stronger batch of heroin may be making its way through the community.

Both of the people who overdosed survived, however police are warning users that if the heroin they are injecting is stronger than they are used to, it could be deadly.

Police are also encouraging heroin users to seek treatment at area addiction counseling agencies.
