Janesville Man Pleads Guilty to Burning Woman's Body

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Janesville man has pled guilty to hiding and mutilating a corpse.

29-year-old Nathan Middleton admitted to burning the body of 18-year-old Aprina Paul in a fire pit behind his home.

The Evansville man met Paul online. Paul disappeared on October 27th of last year. Investigators were led to Middleton's home in Evansville, where he lived with his fiancee and their child.

Neighbors say he had recently moved in and was burning a lot of brush. Middleton will be sentenced in May.
