JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- At the intersection of Center Avenue and Kellogg Avenue, a Janesville police officer pulled over a red Ford truck around 9:30 Monday evening.
Initially the driver, William Dixon of Janesville, was pulled over for non-registration and weaving in and out of lanes but when the officer came up on the driver-side it was clear Dixon had been drinking.
The police officer performed several sobriety tests on Dixon, which he failed. Police say Dixon also smelled heavy of the odor of intoxicants and admitted to drinking.
Dixon was charged with his 4th OWI and awaits toxicology reports in the Rock County Jail.
