JANESVILLE - A Janesville man has been arrested for the fourth time for driving while intoxicated.
After 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, a deputy from the Rock County Sheriff's Office stopped 51-year-old Nicky Lindley. Police say after smelling an odor like intoxicants coming from Lindley, the officer administered a field sobriety test. Lindley refused and was arrested for operating while intoxicated, as well as operating while revoked and display of unauthorized registration.
According to a press release, Lindley had three prior OWI convictions and his drivers' license had been revoked. Lindley was held at the Rock County Jail and has since been released.
The results of the chemical test of Lindley's blood is pending.
