Janesville Man Arrested for 4th Offense OWI

JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- A Janesville man is under arrested after allegedly driving drunk for the 4th time.

34 year old Walter Pitcher was pulled over just after midnight on Friday. When an officer approached Pitcher's car, he noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his car, as well as Pitcher’s slurred speech.

After Pitcher failed a field sobriety test, it was discovered he had 3 prior OWI convictions as well as a revoked driver's license for one of those previous convictions.

Pitcher's blood alcohol level was .16. Pitcher is being held at the Rock County Jail until his court appearance.
