JANESVILLE, WI (WIFR) -- A Janesville gas station was robbed Monday night.
Police say before 10 p.m., a man walked into the Francois Gas station in the 1000 block of South Jackson Street. He demanded all of the money from the cash register. He told her he would not hurt her if she did what he asked but he never showed a weapon.
He was given an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot, heading south on Jerome Street from Delavan Drive. No injuries were reported.
He is described to be about 5' 10" with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "Wisconsin" on the chest, black sunglasses, a red bandana over his face, and olive or khaki knee-length shorts.
