Updated Mugshot for Luis Edwardo Anaya

Monday Nov. 14 Update:
ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Police are looking for a man suspected of murdering 23-year-old Brandon Wright early Saturday morning near Perryville and Linden.

Police say they are looking for 22-year-old Luis Edwardo Anaya: he's suspected of driving up next to Wright’s car and shooting him.

Just before 2:00 Saturday morning Wright lost control of his car and crashed into a field after being shot. It’s believed the shooter was in another car. The Winnebago County Crime Scene Unit is putting together a timeline to show how Wright spent his last hours. Some of his friends believe he may have gotten into an argument with a man in a bar before the attack.

Some local bars say police have looked at video surveillance from that evening, but the sheriff's office is not releasing any additional details.

Wright was a graduate of Jefferson High School. The Winnebago County Sheriff's department says Wright died from a gun shot wound, not the car accident.

Police are asking anyone with information on Anaya's whereabouts to call 815-319-6300.

UPDATE: Police are looking for this man:

His name is Luis Eduardo Anaya (a.k.a "Chino") and he is a 22-year-old from Rockford. He is being charged with first degree murder--police say he shot and killed Brandon Wright.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Winnebago County detectives are working overtime this weekend. They’re trying to catch the suspect who shot and killed a local 23-year-old.

Brandon Wright was killed while driving near Linden and Perryville Road just before two a.m., Saturday morning. The county's Crime Scene Unit tells us they are still putting together a timeline before Wright was shot to death. Some of the victim's friends believe he may have gotten into an argument with a man in a bar before the attack. Detectives won't say whether the feud is related to his death, although employees at a Stateline pub tells 23 News police recently picked up their security footage.

Dominic Iasparro, Deputy Chief, Winnebago Co., says, "Police depend on the citizens of the community to assist them, we need the eyes and hears of the public for us to do our job."
