ILLINOIS (WIFR) -- We could soon get a little extra time to pay up on missed tolls.
A Illinois Tollway Committee is recommending giving us a total of 90 days to pay violations. Right now we have a total of 56 days. The new rules would give drivers 30 days to respond to each of the three violation notice deadlines. The Tollway Board is expected to approve the change next week and the new timeline should go into effect by the end of the year.
