Illinois State Police Announce Roadside Safety Check and Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement Patrol Results

PECATONICA (WIFR) -- Illinois State Police have released the results of a recent roadside safety check and alcohol countermeasure enforcement patrol.

The Roadside Safety Check was held during the late evening hours of Friday, May 2, and early morning hours of Saturday, May 3. . The detail was conducted at Harrison Avenue and Falund Street by ISP District 16 Troopers and officers from the Rockford Police Department.

Occupant restraint offenses 3
Driving under the influence arrests 2
Other alcohol/drug arrests 1
Total citations/arrests 17
Total written warnings 8

The Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement Patrol was conducted in Winnebago County during the evening hours of May 3 and morning hours of May 4, 2014.
