SPRINGFIELD (WIFR) -- The Illinois House will once again discuss legalizing medical marijuana. A committee approved it today. That doesn’t mean much though. It’s passed committee several times before, but failed once it hit the full House. If approved, patients over 18 with certain medical conditions could smoke pot to relieve pain. Opponents argue this would encourage the drug be used for recreational purposes.
