Recent reports show sales could be on their way to recovery, but instead of buying, some are fixing up what they already have.

Hundreds of people are attending the annual home show at Indoor Sports Center this weekend. It's a chance for companies like Nicor to show off the latest products to upgrade homes inside and out. Homeowners can get tips on everything from landscaping to window systems.

One resident says it's even harder to start from the ground up.

"It's pretty intimidating looking at all the different options we have and getting them all in," said Cambria Dalton, who's building a new home. "It just makes it really exciting. It's a good overwhelming."
