ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Heart disease is the leading cause of death here in Winnebago County.
In fact, nationwide, 71 million adults have high cholesterol, but it turns out two out of three people don't know they have problems. Today the Winnebago County Health Department offered screenings to people for a $25. That's $15 less than the typical test. Experts say we can prevent heart problems by taking care of ourselves.
