BELOIT (WIFR) -- Big band swing music filled the Eclipse Center on Saturday so couples could dance the night away, all for a good cause.
A 1940s themed hangar dance in Beloit featured live music from three Stateline orchestras, a silent auction and raffles to benefit Vets Roll. Vets Roll takes local veterans on bus trips to Washington, DC, to see the memorials built in their honor. The group has put on 4 trips since it started in 2010 and has helped hundreds of WWI and WWII Veterans, as well as “Rosie the Riverters” visit the nation’s capital. Their next trip is May 18-21, 2014.
