BELOIT (WIFR) – Wisconsin’s Governor makes a stop in the Stateline today to highlight manufacturing.
Governor Scott Walker visited Beloit Memorial High School this morning to tour its technical education programming space. The school offers students training in areas like welding, CNC machining, and millwork. Walker says he’s impressed with what students are learning and the type of high-tech equipment they’re using.
“You not only have a very innovative school board and school administration here, but you’ve got great employers from throughout the Beloit region, who stepped up. To see the number of them here on the tour, it’s obvious that they’re very much involved,” said Governor Walker.
