CHICAGO (AP) -- Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn has appointed a new member to the Illinois Tollway's nine-member board of directors.
Earl Dotson, Jr. is the chief of communications for Rockford Public Schools. He replaces Carl O. Towns, who is retiring after serving on the board since 2002.
Dotson is a Navy veteran and resident of Roscoe. Quinn's office says he will be paid $31,426 per year for a four-year term.
The governor also reappointed board chair Paula Wolff and members James Banks and James Sweeney to four-year terms.
