STATELINE (WIFR) -- For the first time in a long time, we are starting to see some relief at the pump.
The average price of gas in the Rockford area has fallen seven cents over the past week, bringing the price down to around $3.80 cents. Despite some relief, we're still paying considerably more per gallon than we were during this time last year when gas cost about $3.40 a gallon.
Experts say we probably will not be seeing much of a change over the next few weeks.
