NATIONWIDE (GALLUP) -- A new poll finds more than three-quarters of Americans say politics in Washington is causing serious harm to our country.

The survey was conducted in the middle of December by Gallup and USA Today, right in the midst of the ongoing fiscal cliff negotiations.

The results show democrats, independents and republicans were in agreement.
