From the Pulse: Gardeners Spotting More Snakes

STATELINE (WIFR) -- On the Pulse, Annette and Tifany say they’ve been seeing more snakes in their yard.

We checked with the Department of Natural Resources. They say that’s probably because the warm weather means more snakes are coming out of hibernation. If you’re hoping to keep the reptiles at bay, they tend to like tall grasses so you may want to get out that lawn mower.

The Department of Natural Resources says if you do see a snake, it’s best just to leave it alone.

Our thanks to Annette and Tifany for joining us on the Pulse. Do you have an idea for a story? If so, be sure to join us for the Pulse!
