FREEPORT (WIFR)-- With the help of more than a dozen non-profit organizations, the Freeport City Library began its annual Festival of Trees.

The Library displays several decorated Christmas trees that follow a theme each year.

This year's theme was entitled, "Beyond Words". In more detail, the theme means that actions can speak louder than words.

Schools, Churches, and clubs decked out the trees to show what that theme means to them.

A winner for best decorated will receive $500 dollars. People can vote for the best decorated tree until December 21st.
