ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Four people in Rockford are safe after getting out of a house on fire this morning.
Crews say flames had already reached to the second floor of the home in the 200 block of Forest Avenue when they arrived before 10 a.m. The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental but remains under investigation. About $40,000 is estimated in damage.
