Four Boys Arrested for Armed Robberies in Rockford

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Four boys are arrested for a string of armed robberies. On January 31st, shortly before 9:00 PM, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to an address in the 2700 block of Colorado Avenue in reference to an Armed Robbery to a pizza delivery driver. Officers met with the victim who advised she was confronted by 4 suspects, some of which were armed with handguns. The suspects demanded the money and food she had. The suspects fled from the scene with money and the food she was delivering. The 4 suspects were located in a residence in the 3200 block of Greendale Avenue. After further investigation, they were also and arrested and charged in the armed robbery to a pizza delivery driver on January 25th and 26th in the 3500 block of Greendale. Two of the boys were also arrested and charged for burglarizing a home on the 30th in the 3800 block of Tennessee.
