ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Businesses come and go, but one has called Rockford home for half a century.
Fitzgerald Equipment Company, which is a family owned and run business celebrated its 50th Anniversary with an open house on Friday. The company was founded in 1962 by Eugene Fitzgerald and now is now owned by his son and grandsons.
Fitzgerald sells forklifts and other heavy duty equipment.
