ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The weather is perfect to play hockey or go ice skating outdoors and starting today you can do just that at the Eclipse Lagoon.
For the first time in four years, the Rockford Park District opened the old Sinnissippi Lagoon for winter activities. It’s right behind the Nicholas Conservatory and gardens and will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Outdoor activities are free, just remember to bring your own ice skates.
