An alleged drunk driver leads Rock County police on a high speed chase early this morning.
It happened just after 3:30 on Highway 51. An Edgerton police officer tried to stop 22-year-old Christopher Barrett for not having his headlights on.
Barrett wouldn't stop, and started heading south into Rock County at more than seventy miles per hour.
Deputies from the Rock County Sheriff's Office deployed stop sticks, which deflated three of the his tires.
The car came to a stop near 51 and 14. Barrett was taken into custody and charged with an OWI and fleeing an officer.
