UPDATE: Stateline Schools Announce Modified Schedules

UPDATE: Several Stateline schools have already announced schedule changes due to the weather-related closings earlier this week.

Belvidere School District: Students' last school day of the year is May 23. Teachers' last school day of the year, otherwise known as report card day, is May 27.

Freeport School District: Won't finalize last day until later in the school year in case of more weather-related closings.

Harlem School District: Students' last school day of the year is now May 30.

Hononegah School District: Students will now attend school on February 21 and 28.

North Boone School District: Students' last school day of the year is now June 3.

Oregon School District: The school district will decide on make-up days after spring break.

Rockford Public Schools: Students will attend school on Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday, March 3. After adding two more days, the last school day of the year is now June 6.


ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Because of weather-related school closings, students will now attend school on Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday, March 3. Two days will also be added to the end of the school calendar in June. If no more emergency days are used, the last school day of the year will be June 6.

The high school finals schedule for the first semester will remain as scheduled. Final exams will be Jan. 14, 15 and 16 as planned. The last day of the semester will be Jan. 16, and teacher institute day will remain Jan. 17.
