BELVIDERE (WIFR )-- Sweating doesn't usually come to mind when we think of being outside in below zero weather, but for the Belvidere Water Departments men they said all the moving and hammering made them perspire even if it was only five degrees outside.

These men had the task of utility locating, that is clearing snow from the sewer drains.

The men say luckily the constant moving and manual labor helps them stay warm. They say the more they do and more layers they wear is key to battling the frigid temperatures.

"Dress for it and do your best and hope for lunch and go get a cup of coffee."

Themen say they use their truck as a major tool for staying warm on cold days.

They say every few minutes depending on the weather they will hop inside, warm up and head back out.
