A DeKalb County sheriff's deputy says a suspect tried to injure him moments after grabbing another officer.

WATERMAN (WIFR) -- A DeKalb County sheriff's deputy says a suspect tried to injure him moments after grabbing another officer.

It happened in Waterman last night, near DeKalb. The police department is charging the 34-year-old with aggravated battery and obstructing a peace officer. The suspect allegedly put his hands on two officers in an effort to stop the arrest of his brother.
