DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Conducts Crack Cocaine Investigation in DeKalb Area

DEKALB -- In January, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office initiated a crack cocaine investigation in the DeKalb area. During the investigation, it was learned that Terry Griffin, Antonnio Sanders and Christopher Bell conspired to distribute crack cocaine in the DeKalb and surrounding community.

During the investigation on March 19th, 2013, 50-year-old Loretta Goodwin of DeKalb was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. On March 27th, 2013 a search warrant was conducted at a DeKalb residence and Deandre Calvin was arrested and charged with 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

The investigation identified multiple people who were selling and purchasing crack cocaine and arrest warrants were obtained. Multiple law enforcement agencies in the DeKalb area worked in cooperation in this investigation.

On April 30th, 29013, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, DeKalb Police Department, and DEA conducted a sweep for subjects wanted on Criminal Drug Conspiracy Possession warrants obtained through this investigation. The following are subjects that were arrested:

  • Christopher Stogsdill, 45, of Sycamore; Bond: $10,000 (10%)
  • James Phillips, 55, of DeKalb; Bond: $5,000 (10%)
  • Jason Coppens, 38, of DeKalb; Bond: $5,000 (10%)
  • Brian Ottenhausen, 41, of DeKalb; Bond: $10,000 (10%)
  • Eldridge Moore, 62, of Sycamore; Bond: $5,000 (10%)
  • Terence Low, 57, of DeKalb; Bond: $10,000 (10%)
  • Ronald Bannister, 40 of DeKalb; Bond: $5,000 (10%)
  • Christopher Riggs, 36, of DeKalb; Bond: $10,000 (10%)
  • Dianatha Hardesty, 50, of DeKalb; Bond: $50,000 (10%)
  • Andrew Burkett, 58, of DeKalb; Bond: $10,000 (10%)

    Terry Griffin, 31, of Chicago
    Arrest Charges: 2 Counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, 1 count of unlawful deliver of a controlled substance and 16 counts of criminal drug conspiracy deliver. Bond: $1,000,000 (10%)

    Antonnio Sanders, 31, of Chicago
    Arrest Charges: 9 counts of criminal drug conspiracy - delivery. Bond: $500,000 (10%)

    Christopher Bell, 29, of Chicago
    Arrest Charges: 1 count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and 5 counts of criminal drug conspiracy-delivery. Bond: $500,000 (10%)

    The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking Terry Griffin and Christopher Bell on outstanding warrants for the above charges, anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office (815-895-2155) or Crime Stoppers (815-895-3272).
