DIXON (WIFR) -- Lawyers for Rita Crundwell, the Dixon woman who stole millions from the city, say she's done fighting for her freedom.
Crundwell's lawyer says the former comptroller has accepted she won't be able to reduce her nearly 20 year prison term and will not file any more appeals.
Sauk Valley Media spoke with Crundwell's attorney who said he will not push for the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court to hear the case.
In November a circuit panel upheld Crundwell's sentence.
She stole almost $54 million from the City of Dixon for more than two decades.
