Coronado Theater Hosts Christmas Movie Marathon

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- When the Coronado Theater opened back in 1927 it was a cinema showing some of the biggest movies of the time. Now, for the first time in years the performing arts center is once again a cinema showing Christmas movies all day.

A lot of families came out and packed into the theater to watch some holiday classics on the big screen.
The movie marathon started with Polar Express and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Then for the parents it was the classic It's A Wonderful Life.

All of the movies were free.
