Some concert goers camped out in the chilly weather before going inside. When they made it in; they were treated to two of the genres most exciting acts with Hunter Hayes joining the headliner Underwood.
She sang to a sold out crowd of over 6,500 people. All potential consumers at local businesses which is why some local business owners where pumped up going into tonight. Some of them say on a warm night with a sold out crowd, they could see double the business they usually get. Temperatures tonight were a little on the chilly side, so some business owners feel they may not see a huge boost in revenue. That didn’t stop them or concert goers from being excited for the show.
“A whole bunch of new people coming to town is always a good time to explore and see what downtown has to offer," Kryptonite owner Chris Wachowiak said.
Tonight’s show is the only concert at BMO this month. We’re told tickets sold out three hours after they went on sale.
The next concert at BMO takes place in late June.
