Rock River Environmental Services CEO John Lichty says within the next three years the company plans to have a fleet of 30 natural gas trucks.

Lichty says in the future up to three gas stations could sell the alternative fuel in Rockford.

Also, the Rockford Mass Transit District is also looking into buying new buses powered by compressed natural gas.
