ComEd Reporting Power Outage Affecting 4,600 Rockford Customers

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Police say ComEd is reporting a power outage affecting 4,600 Rockford customers in the southeast side of Rockford.

An issue at the Sabrooke substation near police headquarters at Energy Avenue and Seminary Streets has caused a widespread southeast side outage affecting about 4,600 Rockford customers.

Police are working in temporary restorations in parallel to investigating the cause of the outage. We will continue to update you as we learn more.
