Clothes Drive for Homeless Students

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford’s Salvation Army is setting a goal of donating at least one new back-to-school outfit for all 1,000 students in District 205.

The clothes for kids drive kicked off today at Cherryvale Mall. Volunteers will be at the display in center court to help donors to pick out shirts and other items. We can also donate money in the red kettle. Volunteers will pack all of the clothes in boxes to hand to students after the drive.

The clothes for kids drive will run through August 17th.
